The Ray Charles Singers - Here We Come-A-Caroling (1956)

Hi, friends!  I know it's been some time but Christmas is almost here so it's time to share some of my Christmas records! This is a great album to accompany you while you sing Christmas carols. All the songs are the familiar and traditional ones we grew up with. Play the album at home and sing along while decorating or for your Christmas party! Here's an idea - if you want to go Christmas caroling but don't think you have enough people, tape the album and play it while you sing along! Then it will sound like you have a whole chorus (and if you play it loud enough, it may drown out those not-so-good voices)! I hope this album gets you feeling the spirit of Christmas!

Welcome back, Esther. Unfortunately the Music Grinches are at it already. Would have loved to have this one, as I have another of their Christmas ones.
Maybe have to go private...

Not to worry on my account, Esther, I've had a surfeit of Christmas albums for years - just nice to talk to you again.

Having said that, they asked you to remove a 1956 LP???

Link didn't work, but I just scrolled until I found it. I visit his blog every so often. Thanks, Esther.

Mel,

I've never understood how they go about picking which albums can't be shared, or which blogs can't share them. There are several I've been told to remove but have found them elsewhere. I certainly don't want to get in any trouble, so I do as they ask!

Because of the increasing difficulty to share anymore (blogs and storage sites closing down, links being deleted, people who don't "play nice", etc.), I have lost my enthusiasm to maintain this blog, so these Christmas posts over the next couple of weeks will be my last posts on this blog and I will officially "retire". :-( However, I will continue to do my podcast!

Was going to ask you if you were going to continue your podcasts. I would love to do the same when retire, hopefully this next year.

Thank you for all the posts you put up over the past few years. I understand the frustration and heartache that being hounded by the "nasty police" causes and don't blame you a bit for folding the towel. You will be missed.

Good luck on the podcast posts and in anything you decide to do in the future. You are a great American and we wish you well.
